Re: the most annoying surfer

The mal rider that sits further out than everyone and takes every wave, on an ordinary day. Fair enough if it's sizable and he's good enough to pick the eyes out of every set, but not if it's slop and we're all out there wanting to have a few waves before dark. I was about to give this bloke an earf...

Re: Ask Carroll

Nick, given that snowboarding is featured in the winter olympics, could we ever see surfing as a sport in either olympics? If not, why?

Re: WANT SNAPPED SURFBOARDS longboard in SYDNEY

I remember walking to surf beach really early one morning and seeing all these broken boards all over the beach. I had no idea what the f*ck was going on. Now I do! <:

Re: Sealife

Camping up at Teewah this summer, I was buzzed by 3 blacktips in the one session. I was out for a dawn session with my old man which was nice, and the water was crystal clear. Paddled out to meet him out there and his first words were "There's a bit of shark action out here". Not 30 seconds later th...

Re: South coast this week?

I should re-phrase. Aussie Pipe does exist, but only if you're willing to pay for a smashed window and everything that was in your car being stolen. If I go there I make sure there's absolutely nothing of value in the car and leave the windows completely wound down. Caves can be good too.

Sealife

Hi gang, I post this because I could swear that I was out the back at Snapper and saw a Manta Ray jump out of the water. It was about 150 metres out to sea and somewhat indistinct, but I can't think of anything else with that shape. Does anyone know if they are even around the GC? What have you seen...

Drawing on fins

Buenos dias Muchachos. Having recently done some work on both my board and fins with sharpie and whiteboard markers (I run a pretty high-tec operation) I am now looking for a way to seal it on there. If I were to have a clear nail polish top coat (particularly on the fins) would it have any adverse ...

Re: Shark Attack Near Miss - GC

At risk of sounding like a dumbarse, if a shark is caught on a drumline in QLD what happens to it?

Also, what are the chances of a far bigger shark coming along and destroying a 9-ft tiger that's on the end of a drumline?

Re: Shark Attack Near Miss - GC

I think Parko rolls with them a fair bit, I follow them on instagram and this is probably the most crazy stunt they've pulled.
