Re: Galapagos.

Below age 7 most boats won't take them, except the big cruise ships.
Above 12 they are full price.

Dunno loof.
Ecuadorians have cute faces but the physique of a bar fridge so you'd probably be better off staying up top anyway.

Re: Galapagos.

If you have an interest in science it's amazing. Even if you don't, the scenery is great and the wildlife is totally unafraid and approaches you. I mean birds landing on you, sealions, marine iguanas and penguins and turtles playing with you while snorkeling. Tortoises and land iguanas walking acros...

Re: Galapagos.

was talkng to a frenchmen who's been. it gets North pac swell and is foundational in terms of our understanding of evolution. Arrant piffle sounds like when a drunk Nazi comes back to the hostel and pisses on the floor of the ladies bathroom.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I checked the surf from an Incan temple today, it was solid, maybe 8ft closeout beachbreaks and bigger offshore. There was a surfable looking reform inside one of the islands. fuschia knows how you would've got out there without a ski, and it is 12 degrees and full of petrochemical runoff. I never d...

Re: Kelly's wave.

Nick, how long before we get a breakaway surf competition run by surfers? Please don't tell me never. Ha the way these WSL changes are going down, you just never know what might happen. But honestly, mate, most pro surfers couldn't organise their way into a pie shop. They're pro surfers partly beca...

Re: Kelly's wave.

Webber might want to read up on the energy required to scale waves. Appears he has no idea of the way energy requirements increase with amplitude. His visitation figures are also laughably optimistic. Despite Steve saying Webber's selling out surfing, it looks like Greg's the one being taken for a r...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I reckon the adult learner quotient would be high at that event. I find the surfing community/tribe thing a bit weird. (Yes, I realise where I am posting.) Perhaps because I am an adult learner myself, sort of. I can see how it would be different if you grew up doing it with friends. I've got a few ...
