Re: Six channels

Hey, thinking of taking a 6'4" six channel swallow to Mentawais next year as a mid-range board. Used to ride Al Byrne's Burning Spears six channels back in the 80s. Looking for feedback on various options. Have a couple of Gunter Rohn's Local Motions and see he's make a nice looking 6 channel AB ag...

Re: ASP MUNDAKA 2009 - THE WINNER IS ?

hard to say with the place being so fickle...would like to think Parko would get a result, would be a shame after such a good start....but Dane is ripping and riding some functional shapes for the waves too....but hoping for Parko or Mick, go the Aussies and Qlders .... 8) I think you will find Mic...

Re: 7S Superfish Feedback

[quote="pridmore"]fair question BF. Maybe there should be a 'C' option here though...maybe it could read like this - C- after riding it and realizing it makes you surf better and enjoy your time in the water alot more, you suss out the design and learn why it is working so well for you so you can in...

Re: ASP: the rest of the year.

can anyone take an iv drip, or do you need a prescription? IV fluids (hartmanns, saline etc) is very effective as a rapid hangover cure, rehydrates very quickly and you recover very quickly - as used by many residents and registrars in our hospitals NC's comment about the booze would be closer to t...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Out front again - about 4 seperate banks along 300 meters spreading 10 -15 guys out The 3ft swell had a lovely peaky shape + light westerly wind resulting in lots of barrells- looked a lot like a classic French surf scene minus the girls . Best session of the week for me

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Surfed boulders for about 2 hours - no more than 5 out at a time - offshore around 3ft plus at times a little inconsistent but great fun. Took my first owner built board a 6ft quad -for a memorable session Steve you surfed around the corner or aross the river? http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k136/...
