Re: Redbull Decades - iconic boards

In the opening sequence I saw a Tomo, MC, mayhem, almerick thrusters and one if those whacky looking meyerhoffer single fins.

Re: Mats

Thanks MFinch, appreciate the offer and the feedback. I'll be out of the water for a few more weeks and then probably have to have a spell off hard boards so I'm looking for as many things as possible to keep me in the water. I'm also super broke (can't work either) at the moment so I won't be buyin...

Re: Redbull Decades - iconic boards

Saw this yesterday. Great idea, but why would RedBull go to the trouble and expense of buying a bunch of Gerry Lopez hand shapes .....only to film the surfers in onshore slop?

Re: Mats

This looks really fun, but is it really worth spending $200 on what is basically half a camping air bed? Are there any decent cheaper mats?

Hey Nick, I read TC yesterday almost in one sitting (I'm bed ridden for a least a week after a fcucked up vasectomy left me with one gonad the size of a large avocado :( )    Might need that seen to or removed :-? Oh it's been seen too, usually by the Dr in the rubber g...

Re: Ask Carroll

Cool, thanks. I was wondering how the two totally different styles of writing came together, it ended up pretty seamless.

Re: For the board junkies. My next new stick.

Congrats Jet, some of Stuart's recent stuff is amazing, ....though I can't get past the fact that you got such an awesome wedding present from your future wife. The only thing I got from mine pre wedding was a lecture about not getting drunk and making a fool of myself. How does she go? ....edit: I ...

Re: Fins 7" and 7.5". Mackie 6'0 thruster.

Still for sale. I'd trade for a good short fat small wave groveller, 5'6 to 5'10 etc.....or make me an offer.

Re: Fins 7" and 7.5". Mackie 6'0 thruster.

Hi beeryman, its nowhere near a full performance board. Definately designed for smaller waves the way it takes off and goes quick straight away. Still really lively and goof to turn though. I'm heading towards 80kg with my layer of winter blubber. Had it out on Monday during that sneaky swell and it...

Thruster. Big thick rails like his fish. Single to double concave. I'll try and do a pic once the manic kids are in bed.

Re: When did the rules change?

Fark I hate the board ditchers! Particularly in super small surf.

Bastards look behind them, see someone and chuck the board anyway.

Never seen someone call out while paddling. Must be a Queensland thing.

6'2 channel bottom

-Updated-

Anyone interested in a six shooter? It's from valla, shaped by Sage Joske. Very good condition, deck depressions only. Includes fcs ab fibreglass fins. Goes awesome in good waves, still goes good in small stuff. Think it's 6'2 x 18 3/4 x 2 1/2. I'd be happy with 200 bucks.
