Re: Idi ots and mor ons in the surf. So confused !!!!!
How can one creature cut off another creatures tail, lather it in Vaseline and shove it up their holiest of holiest places just so they get can their rocks off. It’s just not natural Maybe when someone drops in they should have their fin cut off, lathered in Vaso, and shoved right up their finbox????

Re: Digital SLR recommendations
We have a Canon G10 ( was top of the point-and shoots) and a 1000d (bottom of the DSLRs) Highly recommend both (not sure what the G11 is like) If you want to be able to change lenses and use GND/Polarising filters the 1000d is the go if you want to just pull it out of your backpack/hand bag and go s...

Re: Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Signs do nothing but justify a prosecution(not that that happens) People in general seem to just do wotever-the-fcuk they like at the beach regardless of signs Last weekend was a classic non-sign-reading kook weekend Swimmers (or standers coz they wern't swimin') from DY to LR, in front of the break...

Re: Rescue Paddle Board - fin and ding repair
Yeah agreed Nick, I looked closer at some of the boards at the club yesterday and Bennett make a rescue board fin for a box so I will try to get one of those and have Ric put it in. Ric, the Knead It Aqua was dead easy to use, filled most of the smaller dings with it in minutes I removed the remaini...

Re: Rescue Paddle Board - fin and ding repair
Thanks Ric
The Knead-It Aqua sounds like a good thing for the smaller dings where I wouldn't use glass anyway
Im' ok with basic dings etc but I think I might take it to a repairer to get the fin box put in
Any suggestions? on the NB

Re: Move OVer SUP's, theres a new arsehat in town!
Having snow skied since before there were snowboards, I reckon at the moment it looks a kooky as the first Winterstick snowboards did back in the 80's. All the hard core skiers were saying "Who wants to ride a surf board in the snow it will never work?....go back to the beach" Give it time a...

Rescue Paddle Board - fin and ding repair
I scored an old Rescue Paddle Board minus the fin and need some help on how to make and install a new one It’s in pretty good nick despite about a dozen dings that must have been repaired during the great sandpaper famine! There was no prep or finishing sanding done at all and there was heaps of dry...

how come manly gets to have a tsunami, whats so good about manly? Manly would be toast along with the rest of the Sydney's coastline and suburbs "The largest palaeo-tsunami waves in Australia swept sediment across the continental shelf and obtained flow depths of 15-20 m at the coastline with veloc...

Re: Board for my daughter
I have a 10yr old that has tried a few boards I got her a 5'6" foamy - no good - too floaty - fat in the rails and a bit squirrelly Then tried a wider thinner 6' one - same Last attempt was on a 8' mini mal and she did ok - same as yours riding it to the sand With the bigger heavier board she could ...
