from what ive heard from a fair few glassers is that if your going to let a board cure then leave it for 2months+ otherwise you get no extra benefit than from surfing it straightaway..

mate surfed scar in indo, the end section is particulary nasty and he split his head got sewn up quite badly on the boat and had to have it redone once evacuated back to syd. Ruined his trip and he had a gath on the boat...wished he wore it!

Too true. Its great that their having a go BUT i saw the "supposedly" top womans surfer (Layne beachley) out at decent 2-3ft curly. No joke there were 16 yearold kids ripping the shit out of the waves, throwing spray and fins and layne could manage half of that...makes u wonder that shes made a livi...

Glassed on fins feel like your in more control i think, they are alot "drivier" off the bottom and seem to hold better. The closet feeling to them is "speed fins"- yet these have only half the fin attached?! try a few dofferent ones and ues the one that feels the best!
