A mate of mine reckons it may cost $79/hour.
I'll give it a go for the novelty but at that price, and given it is about an 80 minute drive from where I live, I'll probably measure my visits there in years.

Re: Surfers right to be total dickheads under threat
I got hit in the head by a long boarder, broke my skull in two places and I now have a plate and 4 screws for life. To be honest if you don't use a legrope you're a farken arse if you take a board out in decent surf. Did he have a legrope on or not though? He did, my point was more that your abilit...

Re: Summer
With all the baby boomers and their grandkids I'll bet  Truth be known that place can get pretty big maybe a couple of times a year. I've surfed pines when the swell was cresting over the outer boat markers (would have been 3 metre swell on average) in the dead of winter in a storm and it's pre...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Nah, that's the weird thing. It's always just been a reef. Historically, at the size and tide it was yesterday it would break about 80 m from shore. 50-60 m was then a fun Wally wave made for turns then running into a bowly section over the "suck rock". Only then did sand come into play and occasio...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Was at Pt Leo this morning. Didn't surf 'cause of work - I just wanted to look at 1st Reef to try and figure why it doesn't work anymore. Everything was in place for it to be as I remembered. Good size, right tide, but it just doesn't break like it did Meantime, where Groots probably was looked as ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Didn't find much quality in far south NSW a couple of weeks ago, surfed Quondola and Pambula river mouth but the surf was small and a bit junky This morning I surfed 2 - 3 metre swell at Pt Leo on an ocean as smooth as a glass table - nice to be home Hopefully will go back there again though, Pambul...

Can anyone share some advice on Eden/Pambula for me. Heading there in a couple of weeks and was hoping to get a few waves in.
