is trackiness a reason a lot of surfers like smaller fins in good surf?

what Natho says was true for me when I am living in warmer climates. bears no truth whatsoever in worse waves when wearing a 6mm wetsuit. bigger guys will need more help with foam/rocker smaller guys will usually reap the benefits of responsive equipment.
