Re: Where did you surf today ?

Quick paddle out on the GC beachies on the CV2 quad - impressd how it handles sucky take offs
Plenty of energy in the water, and some promising peaks , but bumpy after a week of onshores
maybe tomorrow will be better

Great spot huh Salty? Although 12 people is a bit of a crowd lol.

I’ll be down there at chrissy. How was the water temp?
Water a chilly 17-18
Sealed 3/2 steamer was essential
Crowd ballooned with local guys and gals after midday
Amazing banks down there Just as I remembered it 35 years ago

Re: Where did you surf today ?

GC beaches a small rippy peak that sucked up and barrelled at 2 ft
Some guy even creased his board
After drove down to 2 Ks to meet a friend
Got out of the car to see I hadn’t strapped the board to the racks
Yet there it was sitting on them - it’s a Christmas miracle

I have some 4mm stuff thats rated for 275kg

Thats nearly four realsurfers dangling over a cliff supported by a 4mm bit of twine.
Or 2 realsurfers if its Hatchie and Grooter
