Correct shark procedure is; 1 - Confirm its not a dolphin 2 - Start paddling in an orderly fashion. 3 - Start yelling when you are 20 metres further in than everybody else. 4 - Continue paddling even faster until you hit the sand. Run 20 meters just in case 5 - Change jocks 6 - As time goes on the 4...

i heard a story where some guys had caught a bronze whaler about 2.5m long and 300 lb. they had it tied at the back of the boat when suddenly a great white popped up and swallowed it WHOLE! They estimated the beast to be approx. 18 feet long, 5 feet across the head and upwards of 2 tons. Ans this wa...

the weekend just gone was a classic example of the right equipment. had a real fun surf on my keel fish on saturday, but yesterday was too small for even that. saw an old digger get some real nice knee high rides on a log at curly yesterday arvo, had a peak (albeit tiny) to himself, while i was just...

IMO the way to go is; 1- get a shaper to make wot suits you. give feedback over time and refine wot u like 2 - to last longer get a decent glass job (with a deck patch, and full rail laps) on them. many off the racks boards i have fondled are crazy light - is this for performance or to get u back to...

at a rough guess for your weight

5'8" * 20.5" or 21" * 2,3/8 or 2.5"

might sound a lot but they are meant to have heaps of width and volume

check the design thread for a bunch of names as to who shapes them

good luck!

i have had this 'problem' before

it may not be the fins so much but if the particular board has deep concave or accentuated rocker (or a combo of these two) around the fin area than it cannot sit completely flush as the fin base is made flat

no biggy IMO

a reasonable rule of thumb is if the food is freshly cooked it will be OK

if it looks like its been sitting around for a while then avoid it
