I reckon Derek Hynde, Ozzie Wright and Mark Webber should be the commentary team. Kelly can sit in the channel when he retires ala Strider. Is there anything more ridiculous than a bloke with a waterproof mic.

Yeah it was fun today. Shapley waves, plenty of peaks. Bit of grunt left in the water. I saw two waves today that looked like they were from a different country. Bloody beautiful.

"City surfers". Lol. Shit stirring.

BUT, I spoke to a few pretty good surfers about their experiences in the last run of swell and a few humbly admitted they were so tuned into average beach breaks that they felt they sucked hard in lined up good juice.

Put a pronounced V about 1.5 ft past the fins all the way to the tail and soften the rails at the back. Might give it a bit more flow. Ah f&ck ignore me I've been caught out with low railed pins before. Great in lined up juice but a bit stiff in less than stellar. Just a minute. Where is Saltman hid...
