Re: Where did you surf today ?

Nah, resting my shoulder. I actually took a board down later but the wind was getting into it. Hoping to have it in shape for a quick getaway next weekend. Some kook on a toy bodyboard without flippers got washed around in front of the cliffs. Apparently he was yelling out for help but no one could...

Re: The Tulla Tub

Seen some interesting amateur footage. Looks really crowded in the takeoff area with a full crew out. Waves look a lot more warbly too than all the promo stuff. Found this on the Tube. Surfing starts at 8:00 https://youtu.be/teQ2UmsSkWY Does look warbly. Also notice guys bogging top turns further i...

Re: The Tulla Tub

I was invited to go to URBSRF's pool in Melbourne on Monday! But I can't because I'll be in Hawaii. Sorry everyone you'll just have to wait for some future critical analysis. I wonder if someone who is not a member of the surf industrial complex will ever be allowed to surf this place? I have a fri...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Fcuk! I went down to Sunset after the contest finished, the swell jumped 4' in half an hour and it was going mental, closing out the channel, bombing third reef. I paddled out on an 8'0" AB and stalked the second reef from the side, totally undergunned, really you needed a 10'0". It was a solid 12-...

What are those?

Have a look at DVS 8inch Whip and his side bites if the JF’s don’t work out. Great fun combo
KAI SALLAS 7" SINGLE FIN and PG side bites... if these dont work out I wont be buying anymore. My current ones ok, but I can feel it could be better, havent purchased yet though

Re: Midlengths

Well guys so far it's working fine as a thruster in head and a half high waves (the difference between chalk and cheese). There were a few bigger ones, but I got those on the head. What's the fccckn point in it? the negatives seem to outweigh the (if any) benefits. Surely most board would go ok in ...
