Re: Front shoulder pain.

Seeing a physiotherapist was the best thing I did for my torn rotator cuff. Unlike the GP consultations which are 10 minutes they were 30 minutes - we covered a lot of ground in that time. She had a working model of all the shoulder bones and muscles and showed me exactly how everything worked and w...

Re: Midlengths

Sounds like a Joel Fitz sea gypsy would suit you well. Wasn't it Tootr who bought one from my local shop? If so how are you liking it? The Sea Gypsy and the Magic Carpet seem quite different. The Magic Carpet has a narrower nose and tail and more nose lift. I think it would handle the waves I surf ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

My favourite beach when I lived in Cronulla was Garie in the Royal National Park - just a 35 minute drive away. Stopping at the top car park to check it out was a pleasure. Sometimes the rain would flood the causeways, but you could still get in (just) using the Waterfall Road. Just before I moved t...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Fcuk surfing, it's really just an excuse to find a good park. Just admit it to yourself, leave the board on the racks, lean back and enjoy a good park!

Re: Midlengths

I've got a 6'6" and a 7'er in those Tajen's. Run them with Webber flex twins and a nubster in the 6'6" and with twins and fcs bonzer sidebites (the smaller of the set) in the rear quad plugs or a straight quad fin set in the 7'er. They can handle size no problem. Can't post photos here. Pics here: ...

Re: Midlengths

I've now got an alternate (ie. not McCoy) quiver of boards for the bukit: a 6'4 Bonzer Biscuit, plus 7' and 7'6 Hypto Krypto inspired boards from Surf Warehouse. The 7' and 7'6 Hypto Krypto inspired boards have skinnier rails, pointier noses and tails, and more tail and nose rocker than the bigger H...
