A mate had a degustation dinner at the Bribie Island Surf Club last night. 5 courses and 5 wines. All Grant Burge wines, very nice, everything from a sparking to a tawny port. Does anyone know how otway1949 is going? He had is prostatectomy and then was living in Austria in his wife's home town and realsurf hasn't heard anything since.

When you think about great photogenic boards while they are being ridden, there aren't a lot of them. It's really Mr G. Lopez and his Lightning Bolts and the time and the place and how they gloriously added to the mythos.

They have said heat analyser will be available in the normal way on the WSL site.

It's odd that the judges seem to punish lack of variety on the forehand, but they will score repeated identical backhand off the lips all day every day.
