Re: Margaret River Pro 2018

Some Brazo conspiratards are saying, “for the first time eight Brazilians make Round 3, so you WSL gringos pull this cancellation bullshit!”

Re: Easter Classic 2018

Julio, re: ignoring the first part of the wave. I like Bells a lot and feel it is underrated and often under surfed in the event. People sit way down on the end bowl takeoff and sometimes even wide of that, then surf it "slow", trying to keep the pace down in order to time those straight up and down...

Surfed at Pussy Point for the first time in my life.
As soon as I paddled out I could see why it's nicknamed that
Actually caught a few nice waves.
Still a bunch of Americans who were here for the NFOS.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Wow!
From Stu Nettle on Swellnet, jet ski laws actually being enforced on the Gold Coast. Stu and Jimmy and all those campaigning, not those just whinging on the internet, making a difference.

Having been out at Snapper when it's like that, I reckon there is a bit of luck to being able to precisely deliver a heat strategy.

Why not just keep it at 2 man?
Then 12 competitors, would become 6, would become 3....Hang on, what do we do now?

It looks the real deal to me, Rustt.
Bit of a classic doubler situation. Nice to have the gopro view of the wave switcheroo as well.

Yep, and Tyler, Carissa and Steph getting knocked out in the quarters suggests an increase in depth in the women's comp.
