Re: Where did you surf today ?

I had a patch of wetsuit neoprene sewn into the front of a few of my rashies which stopped problems I was having with the lower part of my sternum.

Re: The Tulla Tub

Get on it Beany. As a bonus, they have a button museum right next door to said tub, historic and rare buttons including some Australian Aboriginal (can I still say that?) buttons from the Dreamtime

Although these are for rotator cuff problems I think they encompass a pile of shoulder problems:

Re: Front shoulder pain.

So I checked out a couple of physio videos and tried a couple of simple exercises for specific shoulder strain areas. One worked really well. Actually related to weight training so I might try it with some light weights. It opens up the joint a lot Chuck up a link Beans, I’ve got front shoulder pai...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

My favourite beach when I lived in Cronulla was Garie in the Royal National Park - just a 35 minute drive away. Stopping at the top car park to check it out was a pleasure. Sometimes the rain would flood the causeways, but you could still get in (just) using the Waterfall Road. Just before I moved ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

7am, amazing surf by myself in glassy, overhead waves. Only lasted an hour and the rising tide killed it. Forecast was bad so I didn't bother checking the surf until 6:30am. Would have been out at 5:30am if I'd known. How’s your parking going Cranked? Do you still pay the old Ibu at Impossibles whe...

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Neptune Island in SA, Orcas ate a big pointer’s liver, with a nice Chianti.
The shark cage business that goes there didn’t see another pointer for a very long time after that.

Chest-high, windy freight trains at DY. Loads of spray in the face. Couldn’t see a thing. Fun in a springy.
Fcuk I really miss those days at this time of year.

Re: Midlengths

I’m warming to it. Maybe tomorrow. Think I might by a log this year and learn to nose ride. Anyone recommend one? At the risk of being pilloried ... The Mctavish Fireball has been good to me, surprisingly easy to surf, 9'3"..wouldn't go longer. It's a 2 + 1 The Fireball 2 is a single fin I think. P...

I'm still adjusting to the idea of great whites cruising bali
Yeah I remember a mate who used to work trawlers in the gulf of Carpentaria telling me that they used to see pointers at times
