I just picked up a hand shaped PU 6'4" single fin to take on the plane to Indo on Monday. Very chuffed.

For x-mas I am getting Joel Sternfeld's book American Prospects, and dollar dollar bills toward my Casablanca/Glasgow trip in March. Yyyeah. iLive.

Re: Bali - Java in December

Plenty of very average beaches and river mouths all over the place. Main problem is most quality wet season spots need moderate to solid swells and solid swells are very rare that time of year, but mornings often offer no wind or light winds and storms can produce variable winds or late glass offs....

Bali - Java in December

I'm flying out to Bali in a couple of weeks and will be making my way overland/water to Jakarta. It's predominantly for a photographic project, but the surfboard's coming, so I'm wondering if anybody knows the go as to wet season surfin' throughout that region, particularly west and east Java..??

Re: twin fins....the board time forgot

I've been ridin' twin fins frequently the last coupla years... On account of me constantly leaving a third fin behind somewhere in the tidal shallows of places like Gnaraloo and Maui (Lombok).

I'm down to three fins for two boards now. Should probably invest.
