Re: Thoughts on the Corona

Offy, I hope you don’t mind me calling you a knob back there. You were getting a little hysterical and needed a firm crack across the chops. Glad offshore1.5 has made it home. Hopefully that brief sojourn in the motherland will have imparted a welcome dose of stiff upper lip. Stay safe you lunatic

Re: Thoughts on the Corona

Your son can’t see it because he’s not a member. Kayu can because he is. And you can check this by doing a very quick search to see if kayu has ever posted in Tangents. Which he has.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B8CwnOoA9O4/?igshid=8t1qfq6rq6xl Waco, texas wavepool is a much better creation of man made waves. Wedges, barrels, bowls and ramps. Wouldn’t you achieve the same effect by running through a wet field and flopping onto your tummy at random intervals? Save yourself a bit ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

They work on contrasting conditions. All of the places channels’s mate referred to are in Pembrokeshire. If you look at a map you’ll see it’s like here - lots of nooks and crannies that need different swell sizes and wind directions. Fresh west faces west so picks up any swell going but needs wind w...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

The fact that you’ve had to wait for about 8 months to do that kind of proves my point though eh. Pretty nice waves mind. Where did you surf champ? Any pics? So I'm in an email conversation with some mates about a trip we are planning. Separate to the trip, one of the guys has a lot of family in th...

8.30am starts and 5.30pm finish Mon to Fri. Not much scope to surf during the week these days.

Anyway. Tell me what my limits are Godsave?
I’m gonna say, two gentle jibes about your surfing ability and one about the waves you ride. Close?

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I do have the slightly subversive thought that maybe a lot of Australia's really good surf is actually a bit much for a lot of its modern surfing population and that many surfers are a bit scared of the good days. No shame in sitting it out, iggy. Know your limits, right. And no need to make excuse...
