OK, a little perspective. Boots you don’t need until the water drops below 13 degrees, gloves around 10. Hood is the worst possible neoprene accessory and is only needed sub 10 degree water and extreme wind chill. There would never be a scenario in sub tropical Australia when a hood is necessary

Geez wetsuits are expensive. Back Zips are nearly half the price of chest zips though. Contemplating going back to the dark side. My Xcel steamer is getting pretty floppy after three seasons.
