Re: Snowdonia Wavegarden

How much power does a wave pool consume? Could this sort of venture completely offset its usage by generating it's own electricity via wind or solar? Probably not but it would be a start. Re: Ask Carroll

Saw Storm Surfers on that Stan channel thingo. ' RCJ said his big wave training/fitness was essentially bugger all. True? Well up to a point. He does a fair bit of strength work. But none of my swimming shit. I watched it on netflix the other day RCJ seems like a very hyperactive individual in cont...

Re: Ask Carroll

Thanks for the response Nick, Saltman. I think you have hit the nail on the head re my thoughts on where drinking sit's with me and that's where I am finding I enjoy social situations without booze and tend to only drink to kill boredom and occasional loneliness when away for work etc. Pulling the ...

Re: Ask Carroll

On a more serious note Nick what are your thoughts on responsible drinking, how much is too much and the damaging effects of alcohol? I have found myself getting to a point where enough is enough and I don't get the enjoyment of having a couple of beers and require more and more which results in me...

The line is out of a Kendrick Lamar song. I will rephrase it for you Nick, Would you prefer to be broke rather than brownnose, crawl suck cock etc and be rich? Can you relate to this line or anyone you know? It seems like the sort of thing you think when you are about 19 years old. Then most throw ...

Ice is cheaper than alcohol people from a lower socio economic area are the most susceptible to falling into it's grip, high unemployment, plenty of time and little to no job prospects I believe are part of the problem. Ice isn't a designer drug for hipsters and rich corporate types they will be goi...

Re: Ask Carroll

I take mine down the Point and set em up under a pandanus tree. I can see them and they can see me if something goes pear shaped.
