Flashbomb steamer

Last winter I bought a new Flashbomb steamer L/S with a back zip. I found it a bit too warm for Northern Beaches winter, so I am selling it $250 ono. It is as good as new. I am 180cm and around 84 kg ( this week ) you could be heavier but not taller. Local pick up (Mona Vale) and cash.

Re: why go so short?

Everything old is new again. Call me cynical but I would call it marketing. Something new every few years gets us questioning common sense, you know better but you just have to try it. The oldies would remember 1970 World Titles, aussies did not do so well on short eggs, the yanks rode 7 footers wit...

Re: Ski resorts in Canada

Hard to beat Sun Peaks. Easy to get to, range of skiing is from true beginners to experienced powder skier/boarders, 3 mountains that all lead back to the village (found this a bonus with the wife and kids), No altitude problems (unlike Jacksons or Telluride) Mostly ski in/out. It can rain anywhere ...

Re: getting old, dont want struggle on a shorty

Being closer to 60 than 50 I empathise with the curse of aging but I have also suffered a few nasty shoulder, back and knee injuries from road cycling and MTBs. It begs the question what would you do / ride to stay in the water?

Re: Sydney Board Rider Clubs

Thanks Jorgo. I must confess the memory is not what it used to be, but here goes. Tim Duff worked at Manly Stor-a- Board for Garry Willer. Gary bought it off Bob Brewster and his wife. Garry ran Age Surfboards based at Bankstown but Age got a bit of a foothold with the young Mid Steyne crew and a co...

Re: Sydney Board Rider Clubs

Manly was an interesting place in the early 70's and like Nat and Wayne proclaimed competitve surfing was around but it was not cool. This was the downfall of Mid Steyne and one of the original versions of QBC. Manly Boardriders and Manly Pacific hung in there and most of the blokes who still compet...
