Checking out the Meadowbank setup this morning. Bowls are pretty good here.

Pack softer compound wheels if you’re hitting up the bowl. That painted surface is hell slippery at speed

Maybe a skateboard with a loaded dome to help with speed and looseness.

Just took my son to Sydney Park skate park. He thought it was just ok until he discovered the big bowl. Enormous set up, 8 - 10 foot drop in sections at the top end of the bowl with a 20 foot deep section at the other end. He charged it. He's not even close to teenage years yet his skating level is way above my surfing level.

….this was pushing off the wall not diving in.

...running out of breath underwater hasn’t been an issue. Not too bad for a 62 y/o who surfs irregularly.

My son had a crack at the big half pipe at Mona Vale today.

Current score MV 2 vs son 0.

I've spent the last week recovering from another skateboard debacle.

No, my front driveway after skating the local hill. I forgot about the lip where it meets the road

This is insane. I remember dropping into a bowl the first time. I was maybe 13 or so and it was only maybe 3-4 foot and I was shitting myself. Go girl.

I dropped one into the bowl earlier today ... which saved me from literally shitting myself.
