I've had dirty thoughts about that 7'2 Egg Toots. Looks sweet.

Did you have a square tail last time and was there a bit of vol at the back? I've had two, the one I have now like I just described and one refined with a super doomed deck and rounded pin, good board but not as much fun.

Batoes and I have had that convo before re: type of Quartet, he has a view.

Round tail, not a pin but fairly tight.

Flat deck, lot of foam in it. Maybe touch too much.

Your recco?

Square tail, slightly doomed deck, not too much.

Yes! i had one that was amazing - stringerless, rounded square tail - really loose and fast. The second one i had had more of a pin tail design and i found it quite tracky. The older version was one of the earlier designs. It had really flat rocker, the wide point was forward and the concaves were more aggressive. The newer one felt like the wide point was in the middle and had more nose rocker and felt virtually flat underneath.

That stringerless quartet was probably the best board i've ever owned. It worked from knee high to over head, but because it was old and stringerless, it was broken after about a year.

Biscuits came in tuflite, not sure I've seen a quartet in tuflite before.

Always wanted to try a McCoy nugget. Pretty rare to find a second hand 6'0 though. And I'm not much chop on my back foot so they probably wouldn't work for me.... or maybe they'd help fix my heavy front foot.
