I’m actually a fan of late period oasis where they just completely copied the Beatles.

Uh oh. Me thinks Margs is gonna get a whole lot busier. Locals must be stoked.

Well not completely. Noel still left that peg on his nose.

Lots of footage in my social media of Antman winning a boardriders big wave comp in the last few days. Antman is Jake Paterson's older brother and has been in the Eddie. I'm sure you'll find it if you look for Yallingup boardriders big wave comp.

I'm watching a bit of France at the moment. The poor women are being hammered in the shorey. It's pretty heavy.

No. I really don't. I want to watch people struggling in heavy waves any day. Still haven't watched anything from the pool and don't want to.

In comparison to the women the men's air event is doing well. The waves are horrible but they're having a red hot shot. And embarrassingly the guest commentator Nora is way better than the WSL commentators. Way better.

Same. I enjoy seeing them occasionally get lip launched. Makes them human.

Anyone have a board recommendarion for kids?

Son has a foamie that's been good for him to learn to stand on but you can't turn the thing. He can stand after catching the whitewater and once it reforms he has a skate tic tac style but given the volume and rails it only goes in one direction.

Any thoughts?

We've got the *cough* Tom Carroll model and it's nicely cut down compared to some.

Just watching Hosseger. Horrible. Why even bother with beach breaks if you’re surfing a wave machine.
Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.

I'm curious how many of you refer to a barrel as "a vision" like moronic Joe Turpel.

"Jordy's going to get a vision"

Oh, and also his insistence on referring to everything in some idiotic future tense after something has happened.

"He's going to ..."
"He will ..."

Um, my guess is no one on this planet.

fuschia me surfing is dead as a televised sport. It was dying, wave pools just gave the lethal injection.

Dead as Shearer's goat. The wave pool was the paralytic tick.

Like a few other people I tuned into the SriLankan event and found it surprisingly enjoyable due mainly to the more laid-back commentary.

I think the overblown hype is a real turnoff. It comes over as just that.
