Interesting article about Mick Dooley in the Pitwater something or other that Hodady had a link to. Definitely an original.

So as Australia Day marks the semi official end of the Silly Season.....although there's Chinese New Year...and Easters not that far way....the big issues now have to be filed next to increasing work related issues.

The big issues like which pair of boardies are driest?
How many days has this t shirt been worn to the beach for?
Can I handle any more sun this arvo or should I wait till later?
Wash hair?....nah.
Shave?........only if it's becoming too hard to apply sunscreen through it and it's not going to full beard.
I think I've copped more than enough sun this Summer.

How true. The extra day was a bit odd. Like obviously Only some people weren't working on both days. Had an okay muck around this morning. Overcast, a bit choppy. People were actually going "Where is everyone?"
Chucked the board in this arvo when we went down. Should have just had a swim.

I reckon Nick has got a naturally high pitched voice and he has been working on lowering it for the past 35 years.

Talking about Mr Carroll rather than you, Loof. I imagine you as more a Benny Hill, Syd James cross.
