Was lucky enough to share a surf with him at the start of the year, just me out and he and a mate paddled out. Was like a free surf film in incredibly crappy surf. He was polite and definitely let us mortals have our share of the waves. After years of the pro bullshit on the Gold Coast its was a refreshing change - but I don't feel he would be quite so sweet with letting me have a set wave at pipe.....
