Re: new project
Nice.
You used the word conversely incorrectly.
Also your breathing triangle things are a potential source of shallow water blackout so be careful.
I'm definitely of the Egan mindset, I go so far as to deliberately take unmakeable beasts first up, it is all easy from then on.
Except for the time I broke my leash first wave. Or the time I got concussed first wave.
I'll admit, it does have some flaws

Re: new project
Braithy, your timely fear article ties in neatly with one of Sean Doherty's 2015 predictions over at Coastalwatch.
8. More 7'10"s Will Be Shaped And Surfed This Year Than Ever Before
Last year we eulogised tow surfing. The water donkeys had fallen silent, gathering dust in garages around the world. Tow surfing – unless it was performed in some code-freaking-black shit – suddenly became horribly uncool. Tow surfing became tantamount to cheating. In its place, big-wave surfing was reborn, reverting back to its purest form – man against the elements, man against wave… man with giant surfboard in his garage. And now we see all types of men – pimply teenagers, the middle-aged and the geriatric, women – suddenly all becoming Big-Wave Daves. They’ve watched in awe at surfers at Peahi (only tow surfers call it Jaws, man) paddling giant phallic surfboards over the ledge and connecting with the most primal of surfing experiences. They’ve watched it, drained a protein shake, and figured if Shane Dorian can do it so can they. Suddenly there’s a whole Big Wave Dave movement going down. It makes sense on a societal level. In this bubble-wrapped world where the most dangerous thing to your wellbeing is sitting down for too long, Big Wave Dave is reconnecting with his antediluvian urge to go mammoth hunting. Dave is heading down to his local shaper and ordering a 7’10”, waiting patiently for his day to arrive, the day of days at his local break… and paddling his 7’10” heroically out into life and death six-footers.

Well, historically, Sean and I have complimented one another beautifully. lol
Breathe your shit in on your 7'10" and go big. Sean and I should go into marketing.

Yeah I moderated the triangle to a novice level. I breath in for ten, hold for 10 and exhale for 15. my 8-yr old daughter does the 5-3-8 when we go underwater, so it should be good for the masses.
i just fixed conversely ... not sure what the bloody hell i was thinking there. haha
as always cheers for the feedback boo.
Re: new project
Big wave Dave has been alive and thriving at North svalon for about 15 years. It's usually life and death 4 - 6 footers though
