I just watched his post heat interview and speech. See what you mean... he really seemed wired..

TV news last night showed some footage. And Koby saying 'if it wasn't for surfing, I'd be dead or in jail or somethin..'

Those nervous head movements, nose scratching all the time. This messed up entry - seems like Koby got some good stuff recently.

What I thought was ridiculous was that every heat was won by a cape solander local, and at least one of the judges was also a cape solander local. Funnily enough they beat a bunch of out-of-towners who also happen to be professional surfers.

A better spectacle would have been the locals judging, and the out-of-towners competing (only).

I mean, Mark Matthews beating Shane Dorian? C'mon...
