Left there 5 days ago. A day at Fowlers and then another day in Penong then straight through to Adelaide.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Pleasure mate. Heaps more travelling to go. Sunshine Coast is next. Three places i want to surf there once more is Moffats with Trev, Old woman island and the right hand point at Coolum in a big swell. Im here for a while hoping to score towoon bay and a place called the front.

I can't believe how many stand up paddle boarders there are here. There was none when I left eight or so years ago.

On our way to the sunny coast via New England highway and Tracy drops a clanger. She wants to move back to Mudgee, my worst nightmare has come true. :(

Looks like i don't get to go any further as we are in Mudgee now visiting her grandmother. Oh well. If i stay I'm going to set up a shed to shape and make a trip to wherever to pick up supplies to make a few boards that i may never get to surf. Oh well, at least i did surf for years and years. Now for the next part of my journey

Tell you what Digger surfs not great there but pretty nice place. Spend a bit of time up the road at Gulgong the 10 ten dollar town.

Just roll with it Digger, it won't be forever.
I had a mate who ended up in Alice Springs for a few years. His take on his situation was..."it's the closest place to every surf spot in Oz"

I hear ya mate. Mudgee has some family history on Wife's side that is not real good. Kids grandfather is barred from our little ones for their safety. It's like a circus with the whole clan playing Dixie. On the plus side their is friends for her. Time will tell if she can cope with the dynamics here. Last time we lasted a few years then got out.

I'm happy to give up surfing for her if thats what I should do. I just worry about her health living in the same town as her twisted famly. For me its my worst nightmare
