If I'm right, a wave will break in depths 1.5 X height. 5 ft Iggy will therefore break at 15 ft depth. Loofy's da man
Caveat is that would be a gentle burger so maybe he's not da man

Well, I am just over 6 ft and it was at least 2 of me so yeah about 15ft, then again who fccckn knows. I certainly haven't got to the bottom where it was breaking today before. I am sure that wanksock Channels will be on here in a minute trying to refute it.

Are you saying you've never cleaned yourself up with a sock, too?
Re: Where did you surf today ?
It's been pumping all day today, seems like this swell will never end.

You’ve been in Oz long enough to have graduated past wanksock. Try jizz rag or cumbucket to sound like a local.

Where da Fcuk were you surfing, Loofs?
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Nothing constructive is gonna happen today.
North end of open beach, pretty much perfect beach break lefthanders coming through, with one other guy for two hours.
I didn't surf amazing, but had some minor breakthroughs with backhand stalling/pig dogging. Always been a challenge for me.
Stoked!

3 to 4 foot eluora to wanda stretch. Gentle offshore breeze, and some flawless lines. A left ripbowl that was running like a pointbreak. Not much of a crew out. seems to be dropping off a bit now.

Erratic head and a half sets all morning, some long lulls. Side-off wind putting chop on the wave faces early, shifted to light offshore mid morning. No crowds, max of about 15. Perfect balmy weather.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Two surfs today. Second one was far more successful with smaller crowds and a change of equipment.
Re: Where did you surf today ?

well that's two days in a row at Lowers, yesterday was pretty solid but a little bit bumpy from an overnight sth wind, this morning was clean and a little bit smaller/less consistent. Warm water, like 22? Wheeee! Such a soft wave though compared to Sydney reef/beachies. I always remember the smoothness and forget the softness.

I grabbed my brine brother Laird, who also had kooked the take off, and brought us both, gasping, to the surface, where we met Croissant, who heroically pulled us past the menacing shorey to the welcoming bosom of dry land.
