I had a blast surfing M-Alex with my nano shod with sea shepherd keels. Not too crowded and a tiny bit of grunt.

i had a dream last night. one of many colourful and quite intense ones lately steve, i was up your way, it involved dark water, a voracious beast and a here's where it gets weird, a person of dubious covenance. not a human. not an animal. the beast was def a bull shark, on the prowl yet when it encountered this 'being' they began to communicate, a sort of mating game took place, anyway, it went on and on, i won't bore you with the details, suffice to say, my mind is clearly wandering around dark and murky pleasure domes.

i thought i'd struggle today with bruised ribs from an incident at work during this week, but lo and behold not a wince and i managed a few fun runs on the l;ow tide rip bowl action on the beach this arvo. something about being out in hideous weather, albeit clearing, but still windswept and uninviting that takes one back to childhood innocence.

I left my house at 9am after checking the crowded local.
Scouted from Cronulla to Bellambi. yes every break. Anywhere that was good one the coal coast had a comp or was off the charts busy. Wasted a quarter tank of fuel and 3 hours. Ended going home really frustrated, so much so when I got home my wife sent me packing to Cronulla point to get it out of my system as she didn't want me in the house in that state.
Surfed for 2 hours. First hour there were a few out. Second our everyone vanished, maybe to watch the fight, got a few and went home.
Surfed my 6'4 shorty. Geez I'm out of shape.... Kids.....

Mate surfed a certain point this morning and had what he said was six foot mako or whaler get air right next to him -had to be a bull I reckon.
I was busy this morning but couldn't attempt that rock off in an east swell anyway with one arm so this arvo continued my golden run of opportunist attacks and scored big time - must have been everyone at the fight - half a dozen max picking off glassed off five foot sets at will walling and barrelling

Back on topic I went an shifty beachy this morning near Sydney. Wasnt small. All the lagoons are looking like river mouths at the moment.

Had a gre4at session this morning
A mix of grinding thick closeouts amongst some picture perfect 4ft peaks. Plenty for everyone (well all six of us over 2 peaks)
