Worst Summer in the Eastern Suburbs I can remember for 6 or 7 years.

Definitely the worst since I started. And it ended with a fizzer yesterday.

Clean 2' decent beachies yesterday, after driving around. Managed a pretty good cutback and even a late drop on my backhand. Knee went great and with less than a week til I get the wires out I'm looking good for autumn and winter.

There was more size and push at the south end this morning. Definitely better than yesterday. Caught the best left I ever had there today.

the one shining light on extended runs of small waves and crap conditions, is it allows some magic banks to form and spoil you for a day or three when swell finally does come.

This morning's session would have been good if not for all the other people on my inside. I swapped the size 7 fins for 5s today. Can't comment on the change since I only got one decent wave but it was a pretty good one with some top to bottom lines.

I watched Sandon Point yesterday arvo grow from 1 to 4 foot in the space of about half an hour. 4 dudes out. Pumping. I didn't have a board with me, but that was cool, as I was returning from work and more excited about today's prospects. Had a beer, went to sleep listening to some booming sets..Woke up to 2 foot tide and wind affected shite.

Very annoyed with myself for not going out yesterday!

Sydney seems to be twice as big, judging by the cams.
