How big?
had a surf in two halves today, first i could do no wrong, full wave magnet.
then the bay woke up, both meanings. Ocean swimmers, goat boats, cro magnon men with crook but effective styles. .

had a theory last night that some places are just so good they can't be fcuked by humanity.

... yeah its madness 'round here too.

Woke up in the darkness to check out a beachie, but the tide was too low. Ended up right back in the clusterfcuk of the alley, with long lulls and easter crowds.

Not for the first time in the last week, I was made to miss tasmania.

Sydney's northern beaches sandbanks worst in living memory? Discuss.

Great session at a thumping Sydney beachie. Long clean hollow lefts with only a few others on it. Most satisfying.

My local has the best and longest lines coming into it that I've seen in probably a year. Just 4 guys out ------------ in coloured T shirts. <:

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Well I just surfed 5' side shore winki and my brother surfed a spot in Sydney where he says he struggled to pick off a set wave on his 9'0" Brewer.

So I'm definitely not winning.

Scored some fun beachies today. A bit straight early on but got better right on high tide. Best part was me and my mate had it to ourselves for 2.5hrs. And it's easter Saturday!!!!

The Pass is comical today, good viewing.
The multifaceted kookery is astonishing, so many wasted waves.

North facing ? Anything I saw with south and east exposure was long lined close outs except bower, qcliff bombie and the Longie bombies

I was on baby sitting duties today. Got the call up from a mate this morning but couldn't surf. Watched him out alone on his 7'0 struggle to get into a few what looked like 8 to even 10 foot sets from where I was. No one around. Except Nick's little bro and his camera.

Surfed a spot yesterday pumping and only 3 of us out for like an hour in the arvo. Where is everyone? Must have gone away for Easter. Few spots working today with hardly any crowd.

Had a quick paddle early this morning (down your way Braithy ... dog park ?) prior to dropping the cheese and her mother off at the railway station. Anyway after delivering the ladies ... I mooched along the highway ... down to South Tweed for another errand before doing the loop past Snapper through to Kirra. Well pickle me grandmother ... lucky I didn't want to accommodate the vehicle ... not a vacant car park within cooee of the beach. Holiday weekends and swell ... happy fcuking easter cuts.

It'll be another early assault tomorrow to lessen the crowd factor ... bit further south this time ... not too far though ... tide permitting.

Nah straight east - fair few closeouts in the mix but there was one cracker every 2 sets at least. Plenty of paddling to stay on the spot.

Wonky super fast kirra this morning before a thousand scabs who'd given up on battling the sweep drifted down from the superbank.

My buddy sent me a photo of a mid north nsw point that was every part of triple overhead this morning

Yeah Newcastle area has been big, seen a few boards broken yesterday. The size unusually didn't keep the crowds down, everyone's 'avin' a go. :-D-:
