1mm full suit, no stitching, hand-blown Japanese neoprene, price A$999.00

I'm testing it.

For a grand I’d be expecting some ‘hand blown’ too.

You get to keep it?
Because longevity would be an important factor in a review when paying that much.

Oh yes I get to keep it. like:

a) that's what you do with wetsuit tests - staged reviews. Intro-first wearings, then in six months a wear and tear review, then a second wear and tear review a year after that

b) I'm pretty sure nobody wants any wetsuit I've worn. You know I'm gonna piss in this thing, sweat in it, possibly do a small poo in it in honour of the Mighty Sunbird.

And you can buy one right now if you want. So you don't need to be a pro.

Isn't 1mm rashie thickness?

Surely neoprene that thin would be susceptible to tearing?

Fcuken huge mate.

channels -- who knows? That's what we're here to find out. 1mm is thicker than a rash vest. you can find 1.5mm rubber in many l/s wettie vests, that's kinda what it feels like but a bit lighter.

Anyone know of any surfers who have had hip-replacement surgery, and what that did to their surfing? Like, do they still surf?

Umm fcuk dozens of them. By and large they were fine, some with various degrees of impingement depending on the level of surgery and their attention to rehab etc.

The main thing for quite a few seemed more psychological than physical, like they had never had a real injury before and weren't quite ready for the longer term challenge of freeing yourself from the thought of what had been done to you.

All seemed thrilled in the shorter term by the pain relief - no more arthritis.
