I know that break well. It’s juicey. Why do you need a new board if you’ve got the Rab? Well a solid wave board anyway.

I was 78kg at the time it felt best. Now I’m around 88kg. Therefore want something a little wider, and a bit thicker. It’s still a great board, just feels a bit needle-like these days.

My old single fin 6”11 pintail would also handle that size, not a problem. But it’d be more limited to down-the-line, cutback, climb-drop line, and not much turning out on the face,

I’m warming to it. Maybe tomorrow.

Think I might by a log this year and learn to nose ride. Anyone recommend one?

At the risk of being pilloried ... The Mctavish Fireball has been good to me, surprisingly easy to surf, 9'3"..wouldn't go longer. It's a 2 + 1
The Fireball 2 is a single fin I think.

PS I don't do the nose riding thing.

The boards in the Rabbidge photos look like his Fat Boy Model. Definitely the one on the left. Used to own one.

Unfortunately Thud he's not making mals anymore either I don't think.
The Tolhurst I was riding at Hanalei Bay went unreal. He's got a new range out if your interested in a more high performance style.

See lots of Tolhursts in mal comps. Apart from going well that fandangled epoxy glassing is light and super strong:
Harley Ingleby absolutely rips on them.

Very core there.

See it live in the water, it’s incredible. Harley Ingleby rips on everything but he looks great on those Tolhurst longboards.

I have to agree.
I admire their abilities but to me the flow of traditional longboarding is way better to watch.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
