No. I really don't. I want to watch people struggling in heavy waves any day. Still haven't watched anything from the pool and don't want to.
Same. I enjoy seeing them occasionally get lip launched. Makes them human.

Anyone have a board recommendarion for kids?

Son has a foamie that's been good for him to learn to stand on but you can't turn the thing. He can stand after catching the whitewater and once it reforms he has a skate tic tac style but given the volume and rails it only goes in one direction.

Any thoughts?

Just watching Hosseger. Horrible. Why even bother with beach breaks if you’re surfing a wave machine.

Um, my guess is no one on this planet.

Fuck me surfing is dead as a televised sport. It was dying, wave pools just gave the lethal injection.

Dead as Shearer's goat. The wave pool was the paralytic tick.

Like a few other people I tuned into the SriLankan event and found it surprisingly enjoyable due mainly to the more laid-back commentary.

I think the overblown hype is a real turnoff. It comes over as just that.

I'm curious how many of you refer to a barrel as "a vision" like moronic Joe Turpel.

"Jordy's going to get a vision"

Never.

And never called a turn 'a dropped wallet' either.

Rosie Hodge talking about Josh Kerr taking his kids on tour

“What a life, his daughter really rips on a skateboard now”

Lol. Rosie welcoming in future bubble heads.
