The swell has dropped this morning, still overhead with perfect conditions. Four out at 7am (spread over 300 meters) where I normally surf.

Biggest swell so far on the way late this afternoon.

I keep expecting you to pop up in one of those Bali Videos they constantly run on YouTube, Cranky. Decent sized Ulus on the last one.

Beany, do you think it would be possible to dye my cock, to sort of make it stand out from the crowd in the communal showers at work?

I'm sure Mr Bean will try his best MM.

Nothing big for me ATM Beanie. If the year had gone according to plan I'd be out there sneeking a few but I'm not surf fit.

Double overhead is my limit for a paddle out, next year for sure though.

Definitely, just make sure you let it sit in some near boiling water for five minutes before you drop it in the dye.

Smaller this morning but still some grunt. Swell is supposed to double tonight.

7:30am.

Glassy, the sun burning off an early morning mist, triple overhead, corduroy lines to the horizon. Makeable waves peeling off down the line from the Bommie, into outside Peak, then the Corner and on down to Padang.

Four surfers at outside corner getting their waves and disappearing around the headland, no-one else out.

Lovely session on the 8ft single this morning, waist high crystal clean left handers peeling down the bank. Small crowd but mostly older blokes on hpsb's who couldn't even paddle onto them. Bizarre.

Just surfed tamarama for the first time in many many years, and about the forth or fifth time ever. Only 3 out. 2 foot and pretty thumpy, doing the tama backwash thing. Still managed a few zippy rights into the rocks. Got a park easily. No sign of beroccamomg

Yeah right. It’s one to two foot. The only time you ever go surfing.

Tamarama is notorious for backwash. It’s commonly known for it. I’ve checked it a bunch of times, but only bothered with it minimally because its, shite.

Well, no it's not "commonly notorious for backwash". Go right ahead though.

It’s a shit wave mongpole. Only works properly on a big north east swell. And plenty of better options around when that’s happening. Rest of the time it’s mostly all rippy and wonky.

I didn’t make a special trip to surf there. Retard. I’d have surf Garie beach instead if it was a day off to go surfing. I worked from home today, and had to be on the ESBs for part of it, and my board was in the back, so I went for a quick go out.

Even when I lived in Kensington, it was about 4klms away. And I never surfed it then.

You just hate that I got a park. Sucked in.

It's okay, Hatchie. No need to justify your poor choice here. We are Realsurfers, we accept your aberrant behaviour.
