Same at Longy, except it was not a solo surf.

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

Took my neighbour from Niger for his first surf at cronulla. Weak small ENE windswell. We stayed out for about two hours. The dude was smiling wide ear to ear the whole time.
Paddling out with the nose sticking way up in the air. Attempting to sit up then get spun upside down. Standing on the bank right in the impact zone because he felt better with his feet touching even though he wore nearly every set on the head.
Towards the end of it he was starting to show slight signs of improvement and managed to ride a couple of waves in lying down.

That’s excellent Iggs. Well done.
I ventured down to a well known point break this afternoon. As the tide dropped out there were head high barrels on offer on the inside. Everyone was out the back jockeying for fat waves that died out after 20 metres into a channel. There was about 10 of us on the inside getting 50 metre sand dredging tubes.
It’s been the best Xmas and NY since I’ve been living here. The swell has been 3-5 everyday. Winds have been questionable at times but on the right tide you can still pick up some quality waves. Had a mate up from Bondi for new year and he was gobsmacked about the quality and lack of people compared to the Eastern Suburbs.
I’m gonna go South tomorrow to catch up with the illustrious TOTY. I’ll send him everyone’s best wishes.

Tough life you lead Cranked.
This morning was just lovely. 3ft glassy A frames up and down the beach. Warm water and plenty of waves for everyone.

Jesus fcuken christ the post Christmas Sydney shit spell is awesome.
It tried to break itself this morning with a hesitant and feeble minded pulse from the sth, crossing up the 18" worth of easterly swell that's been trickling down from the Goldy for the past week.
Result, waves of a gutlessness no words can describe, so I won't.
