Will return

steve - there's only so many weeks a man can endure without a pointless argument with a random pensioner about the catastrophic shortcomings of tuflite

crabmeat - surviving on the scraps of data ponced off the blokes you dole out wristies to will inevitably restrict a man's online footprint but if anyone can find a way, crabmeat will

AJ - siring children later in life is a surefire way of confronting your own mortality and watching two bald blokes argue ad nauseam over which comb produces the least inconsistent surf report despite polite requests to desist is a mirror to those never-to-be-reclaimed temps perdu. However, it appears that AJ doesn't have too many safe spaces in his life so he'll be back, if only to shout TITS at the top of his voice without getting tutted at

Will not return

Karlos - as Beany says, Karlos hasn't been here since the old king died. He's a primary school teacher these days, so I suspect that spending your free time on Realsurf feels too much like a busman's holiday

Davros - but are we sure he's not Thud? Or muggins? Or is muggins woolly? Or is woolly bobjs? And if so, what the hell was that Cindy thing about?

PS, boo is 100% correct about the lamp

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

Of course there is the possibility that Steve took things to heart because....correct me if I'm wrong.....he was the first actual identity to win TOTY. All the other candidates and winners operated under aliases. Plus he's in the industry.

Pensioner!! How very dare you.

No not Davros or Muggins or Andy or Shaun Morrison (remember that dude)

AJ I remember had a spac out about gay marriage. Composed himself and came back with quill in hand. This time his last dying words to Shearer were "you exhaust me" as his last breath passed his lips. He's resting, getting fit in strong just like the Viet Cong from Apocalypse Now

Are you sure his last words weren't "Kismet, Hardy?"

Maybe the Brainwave has gone on a quest to find and rescue the Golden TOTY ... aka Longtard.

Or gone on a quest with Longtard ... aka Don Quixote.

You know, like Sandshoe or Poncho or Pedro ... or Sancho even.

God knows, tards just love tilting at windmills.

Yesterday. 4-5 foot Winki, 15 sec period swell. Not crowded?! Paddled out at top end of Bells, but had bomb break right in front of me, ditched my newish stepup, resurfaced to find it in two pieces. No choice but to get washed in across the reef. Went out again on my fish. Got a couple off medium sized ones but would have been an awesome sesh on the step up.

There was some decent energy coming through in-between the lulls at Longy this morning. Mostly straight handers, but nice for a thrash about.

Yep, I scored a few before the wind came up. Great conditions. Big lulls between sets.

At long last a clean surface to play on
grunty ENE swell tide coming in and some shifting peaks and walls
shared some thick hollow ones before the tide filled in to much with one neighbor then another 4 later
The CV2 is very sure-footed and quick off the mark
The swell has been solid early and disappearing on higher tide
It was good today wasn’t it? Can’t believe that we’ve had three weeks of swell. The winds have been dodgy at times but always a wave if you know where to look. Dropped my last lot of guests off at the airport today and visited a bank that Brainwave told me about during our Xmas beers. Overhead lefts and rights with the odd barrel all the way to the beach. One other guy out.

2-3 ish foot Wollongong beachie. Fairly weak flubbery swell but the twin fin livened things up a bit.

Lacklustre and too crowded. Snared a couple at the start then paddled around in circles for 45 minutes. Should have gone in after the first two. Fog kept the sun at bay for a while. Still hot.

Mouth of an inlet in vicco.
Water was warmer than Ballina currently which I surfed 2 days ago.

Little rip bowl up the beaches. Lots of paddling to stay in place, and ate a bit of sand on a few takeoffs, but I had it to myself and the water was beautiful.
