$1800 shipped? Yeah nah. My late 90’s stick has enough performance built into it already. Good rocker, rolled deck, low boxy rails, single to double concave, lowish volume etc. it surfs more like a shortboard than a mal. Knifey and response and likes turning.

If it snapped, I’d like replace it with a 7’2 pipedream for only $595.

Surfed superbank and Kirra for the first time. Didn't seem too crowded and still some amazing waves here and there.

Sweep was insane but.

Pah-lenty of swell down here. Shame about the wind but there were some glassy windows of opportunity today. Definitely on the build!

So you’re free (or not) during 5.45-7?

I think I know where you’re referring to. Closeish by to you. I can think of about four spots that should have something

So. You’ve only got 1.15 early morning to go surfing.

Sorry seems to be some Brain Damage on my part ?

Boogie boarder died out there today.
The news had video taken from main beach. There was a line of surfers from Johnson's out to Boiling Pot about six wide and unbroken. Surf wasn't all that big but it probably was around at Ti Tree and Granite.
He apparently jumped off that headland between the two.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

^^
shit!
.............

nearby was looking alright. so many options with this festering, unruly side swell, all over the shop, but at least the wind groomed the faces.
it grew steadily throughout the day and obviously less in size than east facing beaches, but still, some sweet bombs and inside wackables and some seriously deep throw out toobs were jagged on those inside banks.
sometimes it looked like there were only a few out, then as the sea levelled it revealed a larger number of froffers scampering around trying to nail 'em.
