Yeah, who knows. Loneliness can be just as much a problem for even the most popular person who seems to have everything, both socially and materially, as it is for a guy living in a beach side van.marauding mullet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 3:23 pmI found that incredibly sad, seemed too decent a bloke to be living alone like that.Nick Carroll wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 11:08 amhere we go:

I think we were supposed to watch this and think "legend" but I thought it was a bit haunting, even scary
Is that how he wanted it? Who knows.

Ruler edged lines marching down the reef
double overhead sets every 10 minutes
The 5.10 quartet was getting a bit chattery as it hit top speed but held in remarkably well
Crowd grew to a dozen after an hour with clean up sets every 30 minutes keeping it real
Nice way to finish the trip , taking one about 200 metres onto the inside reef and straightening out
The guy behind me tried the same and lost 2 fins on the reef

It looks lovely though. 'Ruler edged lines' as Saltman said.

On that last big swell I spent an hour on the cliff top being schooled on the finer points by the guy who surfs it best.

Bingin Mick? Nah, a younger guy in his 30's. He and the local Balinese are so much better than everyone else, they take this seemingly gravity defying high line at times. Same at S, when its big all the various peaks become one hollow fast wave and the peaks are sections that you race.

It must be Concetta Fiorravanti-Wells, the Ice Queen of Bilgola Plateau, preparing the spell that will reincarnate Bronwyn Bishop into the body of Peter Dutton.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I reckon the water was a touch warmer up here, springy suit for sure, rather pleasant

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Today was my fifth surf in four days.
This morning was one of those unforgettable surfs.
Just head high but long walls, surface gently groomed by the overnight offshore breeze.Three of us from the local mal club for a half hour.
I caught my fourth wave at exactly 6AM.
Nine waves in 40 minutes.
Three SUPs paddled out, one of them a foil.
I came in completely satisfied.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
