I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Cronulla point at 4-6 foot. Low tide, tricky roll in and fast and sectiony with the south swell often running too wide across second reef. Got slapped fairly hard in the trough on a too-late too-deep take off, as the wave pinched off in front of me.
A bunch of blustery swell and peaks up greenhills. Looked easily 8 foot. But not a single ingredient to focus the swell energy, with the takeoff zone shifting all over the place.

No i tend to avoid south east Queensland as much as I can these days.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Nice little swell getting in to my local this arvo.
Got about 10 waves in a bit over an hour and got the hell out of there at 3, leaving it to all the schoolies and teacher.
Just about a dozen of us. By the time I drove away at 3.20, there were about 30 and more coming.
Hope for an early tomorrow.

i get the feeling your situation is the result of my situation.
no banks here to speak of, everyone heads south.

A bank, a bank, my tiny suburban plot of over-priced land for a bank.
