The rush to smaller boards has definitely been one of the best things to happen over the last 10 years.

Really, its the only way to establish your credentials as a hard core surfer.

How is this, this would have been terrifying. But he kept his cool, surprised he had the energy to talk afterwards. https://www.swellnet.com/news/swellnet- ... cks-nazare

Fannings called it quits. Guess he’ll have more time to get towed in at the Goldy points.

First time I surfed Kirra was in a comp against Kirras B Team. Tommy Peterson was in that one.

They certainly won’t be surfing Kirra. Or anywhere else on the GC.

They'll be at D'Bah, is my guess.

Buy yeah, even the wind looks uncooperative.

I certainly won’t be surfing D’Bah on the weekend then.
And when I have time I’ll explain the whole Lesbo thing. It’s an interesting story full of twists and fists, I mean turns.

It'll be jam-packed for sure.

I saw that on FB this morning too. Wonder if he’s ever done others and how much of a punt the design is. He’s really broadened his design parmeters over the last few years compared the old days of the classic shovel nosed Caves and Spoggies board.

I always thought that his boards were a bit retarded, but the last ten years I'd say he's up there with the best, I heard his son is shaping haven't seen any of his yet
