Fcuking very fun solid arvo surf, wind dying, chunky double swell, riding a 6'0" Spears six channel and leaning on the rail, felt so good. Now I have three wet wetsuits in December.

It went oilslick glassy here this afternoon, surf muscled up. I squeezed a micro go out in in very good point surf with a crowd of 3.

The water was cold and then you'd hit a warm patch. Very weird. Surf was cranking at my local this arvo. Four guys out. Haven't seen Shellharbour break as well in years. Mid length single fin (funboard/mini mal) to paddle in early - got very shallow on the inside bank. Will mind surf that session for a month.

These pre-xmas swells, when the cube monkey count is low, are a gift from God.

Do you think I've managed to redeem my cube monkey status yet steve, or is it now more or less a lemarchian trait

Most unusual for me but nearly two hours at my local in the middle of the day. Must have been a bit of leftover from Steve's swell.
Fun.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I used the Mayhems in the Ghost and it felt perfectly finned to me.

It was hilarious, I was sitting out there on a new board in 4-5ft Point surf and there were 10-15 people spread across 800 m.

No-one within 50 m of me.

I surfed a cpl beaches south on the higher tide, Steve.
There was some solid sets. Was 5 out when I paddled out. Half hour later there was no one else. Surfed the 6'6.

Do we get a ride report on the new stick?

Yeah, sure.

It was almost a fail to load.

Fcuking nasty, nasty rock-off and I got skittled and ripped the arse out of my boardies and dinged my knees. No damage to the board, so I was able to get out there.

Hang on, school pick-up.

best thing about this whole week, so far anyway, solid cracking waves with small groups of surfers.
