pools are about the sterilisation of surfing. about the human want to control parameters to meet an approved outcome.

Back to wave pools for a moment.

Without consequence there's no excitement, right? Fear not, to up the anti they could introduce random compulsory water waterboarding after a wipeout :-D-:

You only say that because you're a vegan Al and you'd starve to death in 2 weeks as a hunter-gatherer.

It was the wetsuit that ruined surfing and turned into the lameo activity for ponces that it is today.

I haven't heard anyone use the word ponce in a sentence for an age Foamy.

It seems quaint.

Yeah. The Mongols happily laid waste to those pansy agriculturalists to ensure good grazing for their horses.

Agriculture is to blame for the rise of civilisation too.

I think Steve's got a lot of suppressed rage about where mankind is heading

Well think about it on a wider scale. We humans have started putting lights in the road on pedestrian crossings so people can cross while staring at their phone. They're like a drug. But most people think they're the greatest thing ever. Meanwhile people don't talk to each other, specially in public places, just whip the phone out. How easy to control the masses, just need a new social media app and all is sweet.

My new tin foil hat fits me well :)

So you won't be running amok then, laying waste to the good burgers of Lennox head and returning it to the stone age.

I'm very disappointed
