The past 5 years I've solely been listening to psychedelic trance. Preferably dark, heavy, I've just shat my pants type of music
Here's some links to some phat artists with samples of their tunez
P.S. If you like em, you can buy their music from that site (Saikosounds). Full secure online purchasing, usually only takes 24 hours to deliver from Hong Kong. I've spent over $10 gees with those guys over the years

i love mi hardcore, parkway drive is in the cd player at the moment but i just discovered yesterday the best sciz up song before a surf, its called voodoo child by the prodigy but not the original song the pendulum remix, other wicked bands are pearl jam (all time fav's), i killed the prom queen, atreyu, at the drive in, faith no more, guns n roses, killswitch engage, king mungi, metalica, oasis, queens of the stoneage, rage against the machine, shihad, the butterfly effect theres others but i cant think off the top of mi head, i hate people who bitch about music genre's, get the f*** over it people have different tastes, culture yo self
Hey Merkin did you catch Adolphus before Birdman at the Fishos. Mate of mine is the drummer and he reckons they had a hoot. They are basically ex Lime Spiders but he is ex Celibate Rifles.
Music wise I stumbled upon Heaven and Hell by Sabbath with Dio as lead vocalist. Good for a flashback.

Al this is gold. "She didn't realise I was fairly high and spent much of the evening trying to figure out why a purple and orange cow wanted me to climb a tree."

Fonger,
without an avatar, i know I cant say much
But no Aussies have really grabbed me, to me their stories and sound dont stack up against American C+W...but I will chuck Kasey on every now and then.
American C+W seem to do those melancholy, hard luck tunes with a bit more grit - but maybe I aint seen enough....gimme some names!!
And Tamworth festival - would love to go. last time I was there, it was me, my girl and a french surfer who insisted on borrowing the singers guitar when he finished a set to rattle off some tunes.....
imagine - " 'ello, I am laurent from Paris, a will sing you some songs now" - in a rough Tamworth pub - needless to say plenty of laughter after a while....although it did end in tears, but thats another story...
