Nah, got caught inside. I might add I'm no hero when it comes to waves like that. I would have prefered to just surf Namotu. That's my kind of wave.
I'm happy to leave it to young chargers like The Mighty to take on the pros for waves like that.....and the boat crew.

Very sure footed fast and responsive, carries momentum well into turns (when i do them)
Only variation from NPJ quartet is a little more single concave (3mm) up front, with a subtle double inside down the back going to vee out the tail
Flat deck with forward foil (hides 4 inches of rocker)
and a pronounced bevel from the deck - to keep the rails refined the length of the board

I have seen a brand new Channel Islands board snapped in two foot Lombok.

Rears are 3.6 inch flat foils I have since got 3.25 inch rears in this pic
So the setup is identical to npjs

I've pondered why Purch doesn't accentuate the single concave a bit for a bit of lift. Wouldn't mind hearing how it goes in the juice.

Sydney beautiful. Wandering groundswell to 4' on some sets, clean as, little fluffy wind starting to blow light from the nth. Nil humans.
