Re: Gary McNeill
Boardcave? How's your other McNeill holding up? The boardcave ones are so cheap
Re: Gary McNeill
They're cheap in PU glass. They add an extra $200 when you select the other construction.
Re: Gary McNeill
Ok so far. It's no DVS glass job but you can't stick your fingers through it like some of DHD and CI's I've seen latelyBeerfan wrote:Boardcave? How's your other McNeill holding up? The boardcave ones are so cheap

CV2 has a whole heap of performance - pray for some groundswell.

Re: Gary McNeill
He initially steered me to the CV2 when I was looking at the Entity. I'm really enjoying the Entity in particular waves but my Quartet isn't doing it for me day in day out as a daily driver in Autumn/Winter so I thought this may be a good compromise.
Re: Gary McNeill

Re: Gary McNeill
I like Rusty's. Haven't used them in futures but I guess they're similar to the FCS templates.
Re: Gary McNeill
Rasta quads..... of course!Davros wrote:Quad Jam.

Re: Gary McNeill
So much better. Thoughts on this board loof?
Re: Gary McNeill
I ve had this idea for about 18 months about a long fish, they re popular with the seppos in the 8ft range as a longboard replacement. Because Gary's boards are so refined my idea would be a 6'8 cv2 long fish twinny with a trailer option just in case, for a light weight like me in good waves. Paddle in early, glide but still jam turns.
I just haven't got drunk enough to order yet
Would it work or am I tripping?

Re: Gary McNeill
I had an elongated DVS Wasp for the same purpose, it was just too wide and flat and felt like a mini mal some times. But Gary's boards are refined and have greater rocker so could be a winner.

Re: Gary McNeill
Yeah, that's why I was thinking cv2, not too thick or wide hmmmmmmm

Re: Gary McNeill
Yeah spot on, can take a bit of juice, fast and confident.Davros wrote:So much better. Thoughts on this board loof?
I have the rasta quads in mine, I find them a bit stiff but they are cool.
