Bet you had more fun and caught more waves on that middy in 2 ft surf than you would have with all the sub 6 ft grovel boards out there

Seven out of eight days now. Still get a couple of fast slingshots through the sections on the right wave.

Went down and snared three dribblers that went for ages. Thought I'd cut my loses after that. Nice afternoon.

Sub 2 foot mid-north curly. Right ripbowl peaks with backwash running up the face and cross wedges coming towards you. Weird but fun and still had good shape. Speed runs with enough room for a top turn or two, then a cutback and shoot the reform into the shore. Mini Mal. Of course. :-D-: must've bagged more than twenty waves.

Funny when you know as soon as you snare a wave everyone's going to start working out where to go.

Baby food with the family. 9'2" single fin. In the right waves fun, in not the right waves crap. Should've taken the jd groveller. Id rather mostly sink and occasionally get a nice little hack in than stand there and wait for a long enough section to form to do something with. Felt like a barge. and having to tie it onto the roof, what a pain

High tide to low tide is cheese and chalk
or caviar and crabstick

Isn't it what?! Once you get around 1.5-2hrs from high, the fun stops and the brown churning closeouts of disaster commence.
