Mick Fanning is having a real tough year.
Snapper - out in 3rd round, lost be .1, most people think Mick should have won.
Margs - out in 2nd round, lost by .01
Bells - scored an epic 18.86 and still lost in a non-elimination round.

Adriano has the worst stance. But he has a tough back story as a poor kid who slept on the floor of his humble house so good luck to him.

I'd like to see that up against Slaters. I reckon this was way better. Actually took your breath away.

yeah but it was at thirty thousand feet. Mick's a great bloke but he can't come close to that.

Down where I live it was quite good , glassy early. I should have gone out straight away but there but I waited for someone else to come, but eventually went out on my own, very powerful swell had a bit of east wonk in it to load up the sections. Only lasted about 20mins and the easterly cut into it, is it cutting up bells too?
I was talking to Russel B., he's down there said it's big and clean. I imagine it's a bit of a circus going on down there with all his mates and quite a few more from the east coast and then you"ll have the regulars, I reckon there will be easy 40 out at the break that can't be mentioned, let's just cal lit swvic's :) , could be a bit sketchy if that wind has any east in it though.

Camera audio is closer to the hooter than Zeke and he still looked fine from that vision. Load of shit. No one would have blinked an eye if they didn't even look at it.

Porta sounded like such an amateur it wasn't even funny. How they think they could penalise guys in the lineup for not hearing the buzzer out in the water makes no sense at all. Ronnie knew what cock he was by pushing him to take ownership of the decision.

Adriano's style is much more pleasing to the eye now than when he won the title. He laid some nice rail in that 4th round heat.

saltman wrote:Yeah props to Ronnie for pursuing Porta with - was it a unanimous decision to call interference?
Porta was very unconvincing

Never doubted JJ would bet the score for that single air - Kelly got a 10 years ago with a huge air
Interferences are called by the head judge, not the panel.

It's a stupid rule and it'll never be invoked again.
