tomorrow is going to be insane.

I just finished waxing up a Gil Glover 6'6" pintail single. White gloss, with black rails. and it's pure sex.

i got lit up like the 4th of july out at kirra on one of those mad fucking pulses today. a square, backless set fell from the sky, and I was right there, my turn on the first one. I pin dropped like a mofo straight down into a colourless whirlpool, and when i finally came to the surface I could smell dead flesh. admittedly, i should have been on something more substantial than a 5'9" twin fin.

The lack of crowd at the point this arvo was astounding.
Kept looking up at the hill and no one coming down.
Few technical drops, few not so technical wipeouts, and lots of big drop to fade and wait for 100 yards for the wave to hit a good bank.

If the wind finally swings, it could get really good here. The southeaster has barely dropped below 15 knots for days.

Mid-south maroubra again. Swell has now muscled up in size and strength and looks to be building. A tonne of water unloading on the inside bowl. Pretty brutal in the impact zone

Watched a guy get a really nice one there on wed mid morning. Exactly as you described, though he was halfway between little lake and where it breaks further out when really big. Looked good as it hugged the rocks and ran onto little lake.

Pitch black when I drove past this morning but pk reef had white lines and light winds

i could have possibly waited for a more relaxed day to ride a single fin for the first time in about 18 years. haha.
